Annique Resque Rooibos Barrier Cream – 50ml
A last-step shield for dry, irritated and friction-worn skin.
When a patch of skin is chafed, cracked or reacting, a daily moisturiser often is not enough. This 50ml Resque treatment is built as a barrier-first cream: it lays a breathable, waterproof film over the surface so moisture stays in and everyday irritants, friction and weather stay out, while Rooibos and soothing actives help the skin feel calmer underneath.
The skin barrier is that outermost layer that holds water and keeps bacteria, pollution and rubbing at bay. When it is dry, over-exfoliated or inflamed, water escapes quickly and even clothing or nappies start to sting. Zinc, mineral oil, beeswax and lanolin work with glycerine, castor oil, vitamin E, pro-vitamin B5 and allantoin so the cream both cushions the surface and supports comfort — dual action, protect and repair, rather than a light lotion that soaks away.
It is unfragranced on purpose. Use it on thighs that rub, heels and elbows that crack, hands after gym or yard work, a runny-nose patch in a cold, post-shave sting, skin folds that stay damp, cuticles, and the nappy area when you want prevention rather than a scented baby cream. Athletes use it under sportswear; parents use it for drool rash around a baby’s mouth. It is not a moisturiser for every skin type every day — it is the last layer when skin is compromised or about to be.
Apply a thin even coat to clean, dry skin on the affected area only, after any cream you already use. Pair it with Resque Rooibos and Hemp Body Crème – 250ml when you want rich daily moisture underneath, then finish with this barrier so wind, cold and friction do not undo the work. Camphor cream can still go on tired muscles; Resque Crème can still calm inflamed patches; this tube is the seal that sits last.
A Protective Last Step for Chafing, Nappies and Dry Patches
Think of it as a shield, not a replacement for the cream you already like. If you moisturise first, lock that hydration in with a thin barrier film. If you have already used a treatment cream on eczema-prone or reactive skin, the barrier cream sits on top so the treatment stays put. Because the film is waterproof and breathable, it suits a short burst of running or cycling as well as a night under a nappy. Reapply when the layer has worn off.
A 50ml tube is a targeted size — enough for repeated use on problem zones without treating it like an all-over body tub. Keep it in the nappy bag, the gym bag or next to the bathroom basin for the moments skin needs defence more than another scented lotion. External use only: keep it out of the eyes, skip open wounds and infected skin, and patch-test very reactive skin or babies before wider use.
Used that way, Resque Rooibos Barrier Cream is family treatment care for compromised, sensitive or friction-worn skin — protecting moisture, calming redness and giving the outermost layer a chance to recover while you get on with the day.
